For those keeping tabs on the new Windows operating system, you’ll be pleased to know that Windows 7 is almost completely compatible with WHS already.
From what I gather, the inconsistencies are minor. For example, in the Computers & Backup tab under operating system, it displays Windows Vista Premium instead of Windows 7 (this will probably fixed through Windows Update). Also, the new Windows 7 backup features, that allow you to chose specific folders to backup, might not be fully functional. Apart from those two, you won’t run into many problems using Windows 7 with WHS.
I have been testing this configuration and everything seems to be running smoothly.
