If you are using Windows 7 with Windows Home Server you may have noticed the “No spyware protection” red health alert in the WHS system tray icon for a brief moment on system startup. This occurs every time the Windows 7 machine is rebooted and resolves itself after a couple of seconds (still annoying though).
Stop the “No Spyware Protection” Error Message
This tid-bit is for using Windows 7 and Windows Home Server on their networks. If you have noticed the no Spyware Protection installed message on your computer and wonder what is going on and how you can stop the annoyance of the pop-up error, then simply change the set up in the “Security Center” from an automatic delayed start startup to just plain automatic.
Easy as pie! (for more details refer to Richard Hay’s article here) via mswhs.com

Thanks for linking to that article. Turns out the MSE 2 Beta azlso stops this from happening which is great!
Amen to that!
Thanks that did it
Hello, Does anyone know how to do this for the WHS EX475 w/out V.3 on it, as I couldn't find the Security service needed to go through with the instructions. So if anyone has figured out how to do this with this model please post a link or a How To. – thanks..and it was a good read.. nice to know It Can Be Done.

@Sweep
Do this on each client computer with the AntiVirus software installed and not on the WHS itself.
Excellent….one less annoying (false) alert.
Finally, this was so annoying. Thank you!
