National Cyber Security Awareness Month is a US public awareness campaign that seeks to encourage everyone (public and private sector) to protect their computer resources and America’s critical cyber infrastructure. One of the principal drivers of this campaign is the Department of Homeland Security and its National Cyber Security Division (NCSD). The NCSD, the National Cyber Security Alliance, along with organizations that have partnered with them, seek to education all Americans as well as the international community about cyber threats by offering tips and best practices concerning how to stay safe online.
