The announcements of the past couple weeks have not deterred the loyal developers like Christof Rakowski who is releasing Server Transfer Manager as a follow up to his popular WHS Download Manager for WHS v1.
Server Transfer Manager is an automatic download client for Vail, allowing the scheduling of uploads and downloads to the server from websites and FTP servers. The add-in will also be compatible with the forthcoming Windows Phone Server Transfer Manager which allows downloads to be controlled from a Windows Phone 7 device.
Not only that, but the compatibility reaches over to the Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials (Aurora) platform and Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 Essentials (Breckenridge).
I would like to know when you can download and where I can download, as well as if there is a beta.
According to the author, development finished and the app is awaiting Microsoft App certification to be available on the Marketplace, when the new Windows Home Server Vail is out.
