
Just last week, Microsoft announced its decision to discontinue development of one of the core features of Windows Home Server, a technology called Drive Extender. Most of the loyal customers and users have been outraged and vocal about that decision because Microsoft seems to have taken the easy way out. Instead of fixing potential bugs with the technology (which may have delayed the release of Aurora and Vail) they just killed it.
