Win a Home Server with Intel Inside

By: Alexander Kent|December 20, 20108 Comments

Intel in association with, Netgear, LaCie, LG, HomeServerLand and other notable sponsors are running a five-week detective case, giving those that help Detective Blue defeat Dr. Dim a chance at winning their own server and other goodies.

The contest, open only to US residents, will work in a form of a memory game where you have to match pairs of technology features in the least amount of time. After matching all the pairs you eliminate Dr. Dim and his old practices, and instead bring in a new intelligent and efficient agent, a home server with Intel inside.

Take a quick stab at the game, and we mean quick, every second counts…, and don’t forget to share your scores with your friends on Facebook and/or Twitter for added bragging rights.

Good Luck!

When will the winners be posted and is it a random drawing ? Or is it the best speed ?

    Hi Thomas,

Intel Corporation and “the Sponsor” will award five (5) weekly prizes based on the results of a random drawing of the top fifty (50) scores held weekly. Every Saturday at 11:59 P.M. PST during the contest period, the game will close and the high scores will be tallied. On Sunday, at 12:00 A.M. PST, the game will begin again. A random drawing will be held weekly amongst the top fifty (50) scores. The contest ends at 11:59:59 P.M. (PST) on January 29, 2010.

    Good Luck,
    Alexander

After playing the game, I realize how much my home server does on it’s own. Some of those inefficiencies are ably addressed through advances and features in the WHS. I could still use a new one if I win it, though!
