Windows Home Server 2011 system builder edition will make its public debut in Japan this weekend. While there are some who cannot wait to get the transition to the system started, other users have numerous factors to weigh before upgrading from WHS v1, one such factor is the cost associated with the new OS.
Until now it was anyone’s guess as to the pricing for Windows Home Server 2011, but the hopes that it would stay in the range close to that of WHS v1 have prevailed, and depending on the retailer the USD price tag will be in and around $100.

I already bought my copy of WHS2011 last week for $106 shipped http://www.pcsuperstore.com/products/11368305-Microsoft-CCQ00128.html
I also bought my copy from pcsuperstore.com for $106.00 plus shipping. I paid a few $$ more for two day shipping. I received it last week and am fully up and running.
Does anyone know if its possible to run WHS 2011 in hyper-v?
Yes it runs as a guest under hyper-v. I have it running now.
I bought this last week to upgrade from WHS1, so far so good. Best part is i paid $1.05 on it on amazon ($50.61) after my points deducted. Cheers!
