We are happy to announce the availability of limited Kentdome beta slots.

The Kentdome Beta Program is valuable because "real world" users (you) may find bugs that are difficult or impossible to locate in a development environment. Furthermore, it creates a way to contribute directly with a lot of hands on: help improve existing or add new product features and be a key player when we create new add-ins from scratch!

What does that mean?  It means that this is not the usual shout-out for some brave souls to passively download software; instead we are looking for a limited number of active individuals (max 10 people) who are excited about the program and are willing to provide useful feedback and participation throughout the entire period.  Technical expertise is not a requirement to participate in the beta program and there are some perks to entice you.

Admission to the Kentdome beta group will be based on correlation to our beta requirements.

How to make the cut? Simple – leave a comment below with your WHS hardware configuration and please answer:

  2. Does your WHS have an internal or external POTS or VoIP telephony device?

    Thanks again

  • My WHS hardware configuration is quite custom.

AOpen XCMini PC (usa.aopen.com/products_detail.aspx) with two 1tb external HD below.

1.Does your WHS have an internal or external CD/DVD burner?

    Yes,internal reader, external burner.

External modem available, no caller id service.

3.Do you have a UPS? (Make, model #, interface (USB, RS232))

4.Why do you want to participate?  I am comming at the entire WHS from a different angle.  I converted from MS Active Directory 2008 infrastructure to WHS.  I am an IT Manager and I wnated something simple for home.  Work has enough learning opportunities with Win 7 /Server 2008r2.  However, I haver really been smitten by WHS.  I have been playing with add-ons and I am currently running the beta of PowerPack3.  most of my clients are win7 x64.  I have been lurking around this and other WHS sites, and the opportunity to give back to the WHS community just feels right.  I have a software quality testing background and I hope to add value to your project.
