WHS Doctor

WHS Doctor’s job is to gather and display selected information about your Windows Home Server.  At a mere glance you will be able to see your Network configuration, WHS console log entries or installed WHS add-ins, among others*.  Having this kind of information at your fingertips is especially helpful for troubleshooting or support purposes. And speaking of support, future plans include the expansion of WHS Doctor’s abilities to also fix some common problems.

We want to point out that WHS Doctor is not a Windows Home Server add-in. Instead it is a simple standalone executable that requires no installation and makes no system changes.
No personal identifiable information is collected and users can conveniently select and copy desired results sets as needed.

  • WOW this is cool. Is there any way WHS Doctor could alert the user if he is missing any critical WHS files or components? Sometimes some addins delete key files when uninstalling and it's a pain to troubleshoot.

  • I would like to see the Windows Event log added to WHS Doctor (filter by event type) ?
