Welcome to our third installment of "The Interviews". This week we have chosen the author of one of the most downloaded and popular Add-Ins currently available, Advanced Admin Console. In this blog series, the discussions are open to everything concerning the Windows Home Server, and no question is too dumb and no idea is too small. So, now we can start the interview with our special guest today.

This is great peek into one of the pioneers of the WHS community. I'm glad that we are able to get a glimpse of his history and how he started off with WHS. By the sound of it, he sounds very technically savvy and hopefully MS will soon provide a good client-server API for WHS add-ins. Part of what makes Windows so great are the multitude of applications/add-ins that can be installed on it. Finally, the work about done currently by the interviewee on Admin Console looks like it really fills a need and grow to include additional functionality over time. All us WHS enthusiasts and up & coming add-in writers should take a page out of Adreas book: a good way to start programming is by getting your hands dirty in learning-by-doing manner. The questions were broad and pertinent and I enjoyed reading this article. Thanks to both the author of this article and add-in author for sharing with us.
