  • Hello,

I own an Acer H340 adn I have uninstalled Wistron Digital Media Server.

Now I wanted to re-install it again but where can I be found?

I searched the internet but no luck so far.

WiDMS.exe is what I know and the folder Wistron+WiDMS still exists on my home server.

    Thanx

  • Wistron Digital Media Server (WiDMS) is not part of the Windows Home Server Operating System. Instead, it is installed by the OEM manufacturers (in your case, Acer).  You should try contacting Acer for support.

I was using Wistron for a while but it keep crashing, I turned off Twonky or the built-in streamer to make it work reliably.

  • I know it's not part of the OS :)

Just called the Acer support and they say only solution to get this app back is to restore home server.

I ain't a favor of this, so need to check better and good streaming app.
