Hi, My ups is an APC SmartUPS 1400 and it only has a serial connector on it. I read somewhere that you could use a USB to Serial adapter to get it to work with Grid Junction. Is this correct or should I just use the built in Windows UPS support? Thanks, Ted

I noticed I have no battery installed in Device Manager root. There is a Microsoft Composite Battery under System Devices. Does this help with my APC Back-UPS RS 1200? In addition, I've ordered a new cable from APC.
