Hi
I'm new to Vista Caller ID but I really like the look of what it can do. I have downloaded and installed the latest version but I have found that it does not display any caller ID info. I have gone through the Hyper Terminal testing and I can confirm that I get OK messages and "Ring" appears on the screen when I call my landline.
I have read around on the forum that a version is available that better suits the UK? Could I be pointed in the right direction please.
I am happy to report back with screen grabs and log files if required but as above I can confirm that Hyper terminal reports OK when testing. My cordless DECT phones also display caller ID info and I am on a BT line/service.
I am running Windows 7 Professional with the MCE plugin installed.

If I connect to my modem via terminal I get "Ring" appear on the screen when I make an incoming call from my mobile but nothing else.
Any pointers please?

I'm also in the UK and just about to move my Media Center to Win 7 32bit. I would like to try out your Caller ID plugin. Previously I got TapiRex working after finding the right modem for the job, so I'm hoping yours will work for me too.
Could you possibly let me know where to download the "UK" version of the plugin?

You need to have enable Caller ID on your Modem, if supported by your hardware.

UK here also, I've had virgin switch on caller id, i've enabled the modem command and received OK back however i'm just getting the RING RING in the hyperterminal log.
Do I need this UK version to have a chance of getting the caller-id info in hyperterminal?

[Edit: Please disregard. Rebooting the PC and going back in and reticking the MCE plug-in seems to have got it working fully (both pop-up and in MCE).]
May I receive a UK compatible version as well please. The basic Vista Caller-ID software works fine, it's just that once I've installed the mce add-in to get phone numbers to display in TV/DVD viewing windows, it stops working. If I untick that option in the configuration window, it starts working again (but only as the pop-up box). Thanks in advance.
