The Belkin G+ MIMO Wireless Router (Part # F5D9231-4) supports the Windows Home Server automatic router configuration over UPnP standards. However, for best results we recommend to manually configure Port Forwarding to your Windows Home Server.
Open your web browser and enter your router’s URLhttp://192.168.2.1 is the default Belkin router IP address.
Click on "Utilities" and Enable the UPnP option under the “UPNP Enabling” section and click the "Apply Changes" button.
The Belkin G+ MIMO Wireless Router (Part # F5D9231-4) does not support DHCP address reservation. You must configure your Windows Home Server to use a static IP address before proceeding to the next step.
a) Click on "Firewall" and proceed to the "Virtual Servers" section.b) You need to enable forwarding for 3 different ports: HTTP (80) , HTTPS (443) , RWW (4125). Each of these will need its own row on the table. For all of these, the "Private IP Address" should be the static IP address you gave to the Windows Home Server in step 3.
c) Click the "Apply Changes" button.
All done! After you configured your Belkin G+ MIMO Wireless Router (Part # F5D9231-4) for Remote Access you should test the remote connectivity from within your home and from outside of your home.
