The Vigor 2820 Series ADSL Router Firewall supports the Windows Home Server automatic router configuration over UPnP standards. However, for best results we recommend to manually configure Port Forwarding to your Windows Home Server.
Open your web browser and enter your router’s URL http://192.168.1.1 is the default Vigor router IP address. It should look something like the image below.
Click on "Applications" and "UPnP" and then place a check mark in "Enable UPnP Service". Also place a check in both "Enable Connection control Service" and "Enable Connection Status Service". Now select the OK button to apply the changes.
a) Navigate to LAN and then Bind IP to MAC
b) Select Enable and then highlight the IP Address and MAC Address listing (Red Square in Screen Shot) that is associated with your Windows Home Server. Then select Add and it will populate those settings in the IP Bind List then select OK.
a) Click on "NAT" and proceed to the "Port Redirection" section.
b) You need to enable forwarding for 3 different ports: HTTP (80) , HTTPS (443) , RWW (4125). Each of these will need its own row on the table. For all of these, the "LAN IP Address" should be the static IP address you gave to the Windows Home Server in step 3.
